Thinking the movie Beetlejuice during Halloween would be a perfect opportunity to invite others to participate in the joy that is movie night, Lisa invited hordes of people to come to join us. The invitations made clear that costumes were not optional. The result? NO ONE CAME. (Well, no one invited by Lisa, anyway.) Nonetheless, we had a great time.


Only Angela could make a cranberry-headed, green-skinned person this beautiful.



Lisa, knowing that all the good costumes were taken, decided to go a different route. This costume has come to define her.

Guest(s): Sara from Salem, MA. Apparently whatever Lisa lacks, Angela has--at least with respect to convincing people to come to Greensboro from distant lands for movie night.

Why Laurie Could Have Easily Come As Delia:

Delia: I will live with you in this hellhole, but I must express myself. If you don't let me gut out this house and make it my own, I will go insane and I will take you with me!

And Jeff's sad response:

Adam: We're not completely helpless, Barbara. I've been reading that book and there's a word for people in our situation: ghosts. [a.k.a. "husbands"]
